About Me

Miss Placed: A Melburnian who has lived in the UK for over 10 years. As much as I love my adopted Scottish home I also miss the old country very dearly. Having to reconcile two different cultures on an ongoing basis at times makes me want to laugh, cry and have countless homesick tantrums. But it is all part of life and learning and besides, I find writing very therapeutic. In addition to whinging online I enjoy happy drinks with loved ones, highbrow and lowbrow conversation, peeking at fashion, admiring (and sometimes wearing) amazing and unusual jewellery, listening to music that reminds me of 'when', watching films that move me, rediscovering art and enjoying the love of good people, especially my new baby boy.
